Fun Theory

It’s been a long time since my last post. Well, since this blog has no meaningful progress, I’ve lose my interest to write in it.

But today I found interesting thing on the net, and I think it’s good to be shared with anybody.

I just come across to a site named thefuntheory.com that provided the ways to change people behavior with a fun method.

First time I saw the video was once in my facebook account, about people who make more people using a conventional stairs, instead of an escalator. The team work modified the stairs into a piano, so when somebody step on it, the stairs will produce a sound like a piano. It is very interesting. They make the project in a subway station. During the day, there are more people that using the stairs instead of escalator.

I especially like their slogan, ‘fun obviously changes people behavior for the better’… ‘We call it fun theory’.

I think it is true, that there are still many people do not have concern about their people around them, or their environments. Like throw away rubbish in any place instead of in a dust bin. I think it’s a good idea to make a fun method to change behavior for the better, don’t you agree?

I Don't Know

I am wondering on my self sometimes, and this makes me think to check if there any body feel the same ways..
Like these ones
Feels like you're not belong to any place you have related to..
Sometimes I feel like Im trapped in between places that Im not belong to. Like, when Im in Semarang, and then I feel like I miss home, but when Im home, I just wanna get going soon..

Or like when you're not match with other people around you.
I often have clash with somebody. Parents, friends, even close friends. Like they never understand me. Or maybe I don't understand them? I don't know.


Well, when I read The Twilight Series, I think I will be glad when I know that there is a place in where I can be like what I should be, like Bella that at last know she was born to be a vampire, and feels like her place is being with the vampires. I don't know..

Right, this is silly. But I red The Secret too, and I think, somehow, far before I red it, I know that I believe in the words that written there. That when we believe in something, then we could make it true. The more specific we think about what we want, the more close we can get it in a real life.

It's like when I have some dreams about going aboard, and then I really going aboard. Singapore. Well, not really in vacation, but it was close. So close.

I don't know, but hey.. I'll keep do the best. That's what we all need to do, right?

Borobudur

I visited Borobudur Temple in last long weekend (July 19th 2009). Actually, it was my first visit time. And I've come in the right time, since there were Borobudur International Festival (BIF) held there for 3 days.

I spent 3 hours on my bike to reach Borobudur, and whalaaa... it was a very very crowded day, since it was a long weekend, so I don't have many chance to take a good picture cause there were too many people around.

Actually, there were many event held in BIF, and I really hope that I can watch the dance performance from other countries, but the dances were performed in the evening, started from 7 pm till 10pm, and I couldn't stay there that long, since I had limited budget (:">), but I am glad enough that I can visit Borobudur temple. I was so amaze to see the glory and detail of the temple's relief, and still wondering on how did the people can build such a great building, since in that time, they were only use a traditional methods and techniques.

BACKPACKING

Im interest with backpacking since I red the 'Laskar Pelangi'. But that interest seems didn't grow for long time. And then, I went to Singapore, which I've told to the world in my other blog, and that interest start to rise again.

And now, since I became a productive jobless, I have plenty of leasure time, and I started to collect some things in my mind to realizing my dream.

After some days of thinking, I decided to visit Solo first. Since it will be my first backpacking adventure, so I choose the easy place first. Besides, I have some relatives there, so when things go too wrong, I have somebody to cry for help....hahaha...

But till now I still collect as much as information I need to go there safely and nicely.

So please, if there's somebody have some or many suggestion, ideas, or whatever to help... bring it on... Read More...

NOT THAT EASY

I started to love in painting, and drawing since I was a child. My friends in high school always tell me that Im a bright artist. But these days, I just realize that Im not that bright.

Im working on a job as an illustrator for a biology text book now. It's been two and almost a half months since I started this job, but it seems that I don't have much progress with it. I just found that drawing can be so difficult. It's 1.00 in the morning already... and I just print page 78 from 340.

But Im enjoying this job, beside since that I don't have another jobs and Im starting running out money, I find many interesting things too in here... I just know that scab in our skin is produced from red cells blood. It makes me going back to when I was in junior high school.

Well, it makes me remember, like a wise man said... don't give up, do your best...... because nothing precious comes easy, right? Read More...
